This works well, and has a bonus USB port. It is quieter than our old one. So far, I am happy.

It worked great for about 6 hours, then it blew a fuse. Replaced the fuse, plugged it back in and it blew again. Tried it in 2 other cars and it blew the fuses in those as well. It would seem from the reviews that this model is very hit or miss. Either they work flawlessly or they don't work at all.

This is a much better product than the Husky or Black & Decker version. The Husky's always had problems with the USB connector not working and the B&D unit works but is noisy because it has a built in fan, the Stanley does not. It just has a slightly larger size and exhaust vents so it dissipates heat better. Much better product. I've tried all three and the Stanley is by far the best and Amazon offers a very fair price.
