I bought this product b/c of the positive reviews, which seldom leads me wrong. I was so anxious for the product to come and when it did I sat down and read the instructions thoroughly b/c I wanted it to work for my hair. Well, what a disappointment!!!! This product did NONE of the things described on the box or on the Amazon webpage. Just a waste of good hard earned money ($18) and 2 hours of my time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AS A RELAXER or ANTI-FRIZZER......for all hair types as is stated on Amazon's website**** What a scam! I am requesting a full refund!

I have thick, naturally curly hair, but not in a 'good' way. I straighten my hair with every wash & dry. I had been using a product from my hair stylist that cost about $35.00 per container, but because it worked well, I was willing to splurge.
Then I went on a 10 day cruise to a warm and humid climate. Imagine my sheer panic when I realized I forgot to pack my hair product!! I went the first few days having the worst hair days ever, which made for photos I hated. I was stressing over my hair looking good for every formal evening dinner. So I went to the Salon/Spa on board the ship to see if they had hair products for sale, and the wonderful gal recommended Phyto. It was only $26.00 buying it on board the ship...which was already cheaper than what I was spending at home. So the Amazon.com price is even better than expected!! It worked great, even with an antique hair dryer in the Cabin onboard the ship that resembled a very old vacuum cleaner....works even better with a normal dryer and correct brush for styling. I'm sold on this product...and then I found out it comes in a travel size...I'm in heaven. Caribbean here I come!!

My hair is baby-fine and wavy, and I have a very oily scalp, so I have to wash it every day. Any humidity in the air creats a mass of frizz and fly-aways that makes me look like a crazy person who doesn't own a comb.

- Phytodefrisant really controls the frizz and leaves my hair soft, not sticky or stiff like other products.

- Other styling products make the ends of my hair dry and brittle, which only makes the frizz situation worse. I don't have this problem with phytodefrisant. My hair remains soft, shiny and smooth between haircuts.

- This product does not weigh down my already fine, limp hair. I am able to style my hair in order to get some volume in it, and the product does not interfere. I can't even tell it's there after it is applied and combed through.

- The product is expensive, but in my opinion, worth it mainly because it tames the frizz and doesn't damage my hair in the process. You only need to use a small amount and comb it through, so the tube does last.

- I use phyto shampoos as well, and my hair is healthy, shiny and manageable in a way that drugstore products have never been able to make it.
