This item is possibly defective. It was installed after receipt and the problem with the auto continued. At present, further work is being done to resolve the malfunction and if this item is found to be defective, it will need to be replaced or returned.
I'll respond appropriately when the problem is resolved.

let me begin by saying the company up the street from me in kansas city missouri wanted to charge me $2300. to fix my transmission.. after taking it to auto zone then researching the codes on line and watching and reading endless blogs and chatrooms. i ordered this part,(before that got a transmission filter and fluid change). we watched youtube on how to install in my 2002 grand caravan. and i dont care what anyone else says about this part, i am rolling at 70mph and not one leak or service engine light...total cost of this repair including $78 soleniod and sockets was a grand total of $112.00 and only took hour and a half. and that includes repalcing input transmission sensor,since you have to remove it to get to the old solenoid. take that big named transmission company...and autozone price is double than amazon.com....you are now one of my new best friends and i tell everyone about this website!!!!!!!!!but i havent taken it to do the relearn on the computer, so my shifts are not as smooth as they should be, but at least i am out of "limp home mode" and still have $2200. in my pocket.....anyone needing the video on youtube check them out, the mechanics are realfixes.com (something like that)

fit as well as OEM part...Needed to drive vehicle 500 or so miles to allow TCM (transmission computer module) to learn new pressure settings associated with new solenoid...no longer rough down shift from OD to 3...FYI vehicle has 201,000 miles and part had never been replaced
